Spectrum Health: Find Your Better Campaign

Studio: Baas Creative

The whole spectrum of health

Challenge:

Spectrum Health came to the Baas team wanting their 2022 campaign to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to think about health more holistically, and to partner with Spectrum to improve their health as a lifestyle — not just when they’re feeling sick.

Solution:

  • Riffing off the common phrase “feel better,” 0ur team collaborated on a concept (originated by Camilla Dorinsky) focused on how Spectrum can help people find their better — whatever “better” means for them.

  • As a Senior Designer + Writer, I designed social campaign assets, digital display ads, billboards, and more.

  • At the time, no one on our team knew Figma. I learned it in one weekend so I could help Spectrum’s internal marketing team by designing a campaign landing page. (Now I work in Figma every day!)

  • I completed billboard production design across several sizes — delivering clean, print-ready files on a tight deadline. I also collaborated with another production designer and translator on Spanish versions.

  • I helped brainstorm brand activations, curated and mocked up a “better tunes” workout playlist, and more.

Results:

  • Typically I like to talk about metrics here, but in our capacity as a creative agency, Baas did not handle the marketing implementation or have access to performance metrics for this campaign.

  • However, Spectrum Health has been able to position its offerings as more than just “sick care,” sharing how they help people feel “better” in all aspects of their lives.
