Spectrum Health: Virtual Urgent Care

Studio: Baas Creative

Same Care, On Your Terms

Challenge:

Spectrum Health came to the Baas team with the goal of increasing awareness and participation in their virtual urgent care offerings. During the pandemic, it was safer to offer this care from home for many common concerns. Our creative strategists discovered in their research two main problems: 1) people didn’t know virtual urgent care existed, and 2) people believed virtual care would be less effective than in-person care.

Solution:

  • The team, led by Mark Baas, created a concept highlighting that for common ailments, patients can get the same expert level of care from the comfort of their own homes that they would in a doctor’s office.

Our film team created an incredible commercial highlighting the level of care and attention people can receive through virtual visits.

I helped with photo selections and photo editing from our shoot and created billboards, print ads, and even a bus wrap as part of the integrated campaign.

Results:

  • Virtual urgent care visits saw increased appointments and follow-through among Spectrum Health patients.

In our scope as a creative agency, Baas did not handle the marketing implementation — but Spectrum Health partnered with Tytocare to provide virtual care through their devices, and you can read their case study and success metrics about the launch here.
